LAFC2 fell 2-1 to St. Louis CITY2 on Sunday afternoon at CITYPARK in the MLS NEXT Pro Western Conference Quarterfinals.
The Black & Gold took an early lead when Nick Sullivan scored in the 18th minute. However, CITY2 equalized in the 63rd minute with a goal from Brendan McSorley.
In a dramatic finish, Mykhi Joyner secured the victory for CITY2 with a stoppage-time goal, bringing an end to LAFC2’s season.
