LAFC2 was defeated 2-1 by the Tacoma Defiance on Friday evening at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, California.
Tacoma took the lead with a goal from Chris Aquino in the 20th minute. Aquino then extended the Defiance's advantage with a penalty in the 53rd minute.
Adrian Wibowo scored for the Black & Gold in the 82nd minute, but the home side couldn’t find the equalizer in the time remaining.
LAFC2 drops to 10W-7L-6D (39 points), and next takes on the Sporting Kansas City II at Titan Stadium on Sunday, September 8. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. PT.
