LAFC2 defeated The Town FC 2-0 on Sunday evening at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, CA.
Midfielder Erik Dueñas opened the scoring with a first-half goal, then forward Adrian Wibowo sealed the win with another goal in the second half.
Led by captain Diego Rosales on defense and goalkeeper Abraham Romero, LAFC2 achieved its third shutout of the season, breaking a two-game losing streak in MLS NEXT Pro action.
LAFC2 improves to 7W-4L-2D (24 points), and next takes on Colorado Rapids 2 at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, on Friday, June 28. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. PT.
