LAFC2 defeated Austin FC II in a 2-1 come-from-behind thriller Friday night at Parmer Field in Austin, TX.
Austin FC II winger Jimmy Farkarlun broke the scoreless deadlock with a goal in the 82nd minute. Black & Gold winger James Arteaga then leveled the match in the 87th minute with a goal of his own.
LAFC2 forward Adrian Wibowo netted his fourth goal of the season in the third minute of stoppage time to seal the Black & Gold’s come-from-behind win on the road.
LAFC2 improves to 6W-2L-2D (21 points), and next takes on North Texas SC at Titan Stadium on Sunday, June 2. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT.
