LAFC2 defeated Sporting Kansas City II, 2-1, on Sunday afternoon at Titan Stadium in Fullerton, California.
SKC II took the lead in the first half with a 28th-minute goal from Maouloune Goumballe. The Black & Gold leveled the score just after halftime, with Matías Wanchope finding the back of the net in the 47th minute.
Nick Sullivan then scored the decisive goal for the Black & Gold in the 57th minute, securing the win.
LAFC2 improves to 11W-7L-6D (42 points), and next takes on Portland Timbers2 atProvidence Park on Saturday, September 14. Kickoff is set for 2:00 p.m. PT.
