LAFC picked up a point thanks to a 0-0 draw with Sporting Kansas City on Saturday night in front of a capacity crowd of 22,175 at BMO Stadium. Each team managed 15 shots and six shots on target in the match, but neither was able to find a breakthrough over the 90 minutes.
LAFC is now 1-1-1 on the season for four points, including a 1-0-1 mark at BMO Stadium.
Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris made six saves to earn his first-ever clean sheet with the club, while reigning MLS Golden Boot winner Denis Bouanga, who signed a multi-year contract extension with the club on Friday, finished with a team-high five shots, including two on target. David Martinez made his LAFC home debut in the match, coming on for Ilie Sanchez in the 78th minute and creating a pair of chances for the home side.
