LAFC is set to ‘Blackout LA’ all this week ahead of the Club’s matchup on Friday, July 26 against defending MLS Champions, Atlanta United FC. LAFC is encouraging fans and supporters to support the Black & Gold by ‘blacking out’ L.A. street-by-street and block-by-block while wearing LAFC black gear leading up to Friday’s match. LAFC hosts Atlanta at 7:00 p.m. PT on Friday, presented by Delta Air Lines & Aeromexico, and the game will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPNLA 710 AM and 980 AM ‘La Mera, La Mera’.

Blackout LA week kicks off with ‘LAFC Night’ at Dodgers Stadium on Tuesday, July 23 at 7:10 p.m. PT. An LAFC player is set to throw out the ceremonial first pitch alongside other members of the team who will take part in additional pregame festivities, including the iconic announcement “It’s Time For Dodger Baseball.”

The LAFC Merch Truck will be out in the city all week, making its first stop at one of LA’s most beloved restaurants, Porto’s, with a special appearance from YouTube TV Broadcaster Max Bretos. The Truck will round out the week in Hollywood, making its final stop at Trejo’s Coffee & Donuts where custom LAFC themed donuts will be available.

Continuing to be a Force For Good in the community, the Club’s ‘July Month of Giving’ resumes on Thursday with a donation to Shoes That Fit, a local organization that tackles one of the most visible signs of poverty by giving kids in need new athletic shoes to attend school. The Club will donate 100 pairs of shoes to Manchester Elementary School in south Los Angeles.

LAFC will also host a school supply drive on Friday prior to the matchup with Atlanta United FC. Collection boxes will located at various entrance points around Banc of California Stadium.

Fans can share their ‘Blackout LA’ posts throughout the week on social media, using the tag #BlackoutLA.
