LAFC kicks off its annual ‘July Month of Giving’ with a month of mid-summer volunteer opportunities to encourage fans to join the Club in giving back to the Los Angeles community.
Fans are encouraged to participate and Be a Force For Good alongside LAFC players and staff members in the numerous volunteer opportunities that support and benefit the greater Los Angeles community.
Upcoming events include a food give away at South LA Café presented by Delta Air Lines on July 20, and all are welcome to be a part of the Community Impact Day at the LA Regional Food Bank on July 27 where the LAFC Volunteer Corps presented by Chick-fil-A SoCal, supporters and community members will come together to assemble and distribute meals to serve and support the community members and families in need.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 6 | 10 AM – 4 PM PT
WHAT: LAFC hosted a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross presented by Banc of California.

SUNDAY, JULY 10 | 10 AM – 12 PM
WHAT: Lunch bag assembly event presented by Postmates. LAFC supporters, community members and Club staff teamed up with local nonprofit #HashtagLunchbag to prepare 1,500 sandwiches and care kits. LAFC Partner Melissa’s Produce also supported the event by donating fresh fruit and Clean Snax. Staying true to its commitment to serving the Heart of Los Angeles, LAFC will ensure all prepared lunches go to support displaced members of the Los Angeles community
WEDNESDAY, JULY 20 | 9 AM – 4 PM
WHERE: South LA Café
1700 Browning Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90062
WHAT: LAFC and South LA Café will team up for a food giveaway presented by Delta Air Lines. Volunteers from LAFC and Golden Boot Partner Delta Air Lines will team up with South LA Café to help prepare and distribute meal kits to be distributed throughout South LA to support food access for families in need.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 27 | 9 AM – 12 PM PT
WHERE: LA Regional Food Bank (LA Facility)

WHAT: LAFC will join the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank for a Community Impact Day at their Los Angeles facility. Members of the Club Volunteer Corp presented by Chick-fil-A SoCal will help sort and pack produce for over 29,000 low-income seniors, women with infants, and children in Los Angeles County.
