LAFC announced today that it has loaned goalkeeper Phillip Ejimadu to FC Tucson of the USL League One.

Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the loan agreement, LAFC retains the right to recall Ejimadu at any point during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.

Ejimadu, 19, joined LAFC at the start of training camp before being signed to a first team contract on February 21. A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ejimadu had previously spent the last five years with the youth teams of Brazil’s Nacional Atlético Clube.

Internationally, the 6-foot-2 goalkeeper earned his first international call-up during the U-20 U.S. men’s national team’s international training camp in Spain in March 2018.
