Week One of MLS play is in the books.
On Monday, MLSsoccer.com announced its first Team of the Week for the 2019 season. After his strong performance in midfield against Sporting KC, midfielder Eduard Atuesta was named as a substitute in the squad.
Against SKC, Atuesta was active on both sides of the ball. He helped solidify LAFC's midfield with two tackles, two interceptions, and five recoveries. While going forward, the midfielder picked up an assist on Diego Rossi's game-tying goal in the 47th minute.
