What did I tell you last week? Might as well just pencil in Carlos Vela's name every week when you're filling out the MLS Team of the Week. Another two-goal performance for the MVP frontrunner earns Vela another run in the team this week - he's sixth this season. And he's got company.
In total, LAFC has three names in the starting 11 for this week's team, as Mark-Anthony Kaye and Eduard Atuesta also get the nod.
Kaye finished the 4-1 win with three assists - none better than this threading of the needle to Vela:
In addition to Team of the Week honors, Kaye became only the second player in LAFC history to finish a match with three assists.
Atuesta joins Kaye after an all-around performance against Seattle on Sunday. Atuesta was a driving force in possession for LAFC and picked up a goal and assist of his own - Román Torres is probably still thinking about that attempted slide tackle.
