The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) announced today that the Club has signed midfielder Nico Czornomaz to its roster and immediately sent him on loan to LAFC’s USL affiliate Orange County Soccer Club. Per the Right of Recall incorporated in the loan agreement, LAFC retains the right to recall Czornomaz at any point during the remainder of the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.
Czornomaz, 22, last played for Defensa y Justicia in his native Argentina, where he featured for the reserves team during the 2017-18 campaign. The 5-foot-10 holding midfielder arrived in Los Angeles prior to the start of training camp and played 143 minutes across the Club’s four preseason contests.
