The 2019 Gold Cup is quickly approaching. On Monday, Concacaf released the preliminary 40-man rosters of the teams competing in this summer's tournament in the U.S.

Not surprisingly, as the top team in MLS, LAFC is tied for the most players named to the provisional rosters with six.

Mark-Anthony Kaye, Dejan Jaković, Christian Ramirez, Tyler Miller, Walker Zimmerman, and Peter-Lee Vassell were part of the 78 names listed. For those keeping track at home, that's two Canadian National Team players (Kaye and Jaković), three from the U.S. Men's National Team (Ramirez, Miller, and Zimmerman), and one from the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica (Vassell).

The Gold Cup kicks off on June 15 and runs until July 7. MLS will take a one-week Gold Cup break from June 15-21. Final 23-man rosters are due the first week of June.
