LAFC announced today that the Club has launched Black & Gold Rewind, a special biweekly series that will stream some of the most memorable LAFC matches every Wednesday and Saturday on LAFC.com, the LAFC app and the Club’s official channel on YouTube TV.
Fans will be able to relive some of the Club’s most exciting moments and games, starting Wednesday, March 25 at 7:00 p.m. PT with the first-ever match in LAFC history – a 1-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC on March 4, 2018.
Fans and supporters will vote for upcoming re-aired games via weekly polls on LAFC’s Twitter @LAFC. Black & Gold Rewind matches will take place every Wednesday (7:00 p.m. PT) and Saturday (4:00 p.m. PT), with the games available on LAFC.com/rewind, the Club’s official YouTube TV page, and the LAFC app.
To kick things off, Black & Gold Rewind will highlight LAFC’s inaugural game in Major League Soccer. On March 4, 2018, forward Diego Rossi’s 11th-minute goal would give LAFC its first-ever win in Seattle.
With the victory, the Black & Gold snapped Seattle’s 15-game unbeaten streak at home and handed the Sounders just their second home loss in 30 matches (regular season and playoffs). With the win, LAFC also became just the second MLS expansion team to win their inaugural game, joining Bob Bradley’s 1998 Chicago Fire.
