Following an early exit from the Audi 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs, LAFC returns to action this Wednesday, December 16 against Liga MX side Cruz Azul in the Quarterfinals of the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL). The single-elimination meeting against Cruz Azul is scheduled to take place tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. PT on FS2, TUDN and 980 AM.
The Black & Gold advanced to the Quarterfinals after downing Club León 3-2 in the Round of 16. Following a 2-0 defeat in León on February 18, LAFC bounced back and eliminated the Mexican champions with a 3-0 victory in the second leg on February 27 at Banc of California Stadium.
