LAFC is one game away from lifting its first international trophy in Club history. Tomorrow, December 22, the Black & Gold will take on Liga MX club Tigres UANL in the the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL) Final. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. PT at Exploria Stadium in downtown Orlando, Florida, with the match being broadcast live on FS2 and TUDN.
The Club advanced to the Final after defeating a pair of Mexican clubs last week - Cruz Azul 2-1 in the Quarterfinals on Dec. 16 and Club América 3-1 in the Semifinals on Dec. 19. With the wins, LAFC became the first team in MLS history to eliminate three Mexican clubs in the same edition of the region’s tournament, after also defeating Club León in a home-and-away series back in February.
The winner of the 2020 SCCL Final tomorrow night will advance to the 2020 FIFA Club World Cup scheduled to take place from February 1-11 in Doha, Qatar.
