Shelters & Temporary Housing
City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks Shelters:
- Westwood Recreation Center – 1350 Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025
- Has transitioned into a shelter. Showers will be available at Westwood Pool, and the LA Equestrian Center has been activated as a large animal shelter.
- Ritchie Valens Recreation Center - 10736 Laurel Canyon Blvd, Pacoima, CA 91331
- Activated as a shelter for residents displaced by the Hurst Fire in the Sylmar area.
- Northridge Recreation Center - 18300 Lemarsh St, Northridge, CA 91324
- Activated as a shelter for LAFD firefighters to rest before resuming fire response operations in the morning.
- El Camino Real Charter High School – 5440 Valley Circle Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91367

Planet Fitness:
- Southern California Planet Fitness locations are offering free gym access to residents and first responders affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. Guests can access WiFi, charging stations, showers, locker rooms and other gym resources without a membership beginning immediately, through January 15th.
