It was a solid debut for RemiMartinn and LAFC in the first eMLS event of the season in Philadelphia.
At the eMLS League Series One presented by Coca-Cola and Playstation, RemiMartinn repped the Black & Gold into the knockout rounds after a strong first day in the tournament.
Going 7-4-1 during the qualifying round, RemiMartinn posted a respectable +18 goal differential and qualified in the seventh position for the knockout round. RemiMartinn's only loss of a marathon Day 1 came at the hands of the Atlanta United player ranked No. 4 in the world.
By way of his seventh-place finish in qualifying, RemiMartinn earned a spot in the quarterfinal round. The match against the Vancouver Whitecaps was streamed live via the eMLS Twitch channel.

After going down 1-0 in the quarterfinal, RemiMartinn pulled level with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area with minutes to go in the match. Unfortunately, the joy of was not for long though, as moments later he conceded a late winner, falling 2-1 in the knockout round. Vancouver would go on to face the eventual eMLS League Series One winner FC Cincinnati in the semifinal.
RemiMartinn takes the experience from LAFC's first foray into eMLS into the next event in Portland in February.
