LAFC teammates Mark-Anthony Kaye and Dejan Jakovic were called up to the Canada Men's National Team on Monday. They will be a part of the squad set to take on New Zealand in an international friendly on March 24.
Kaye and Jakovic will join their Canadian teammates in Murcia, Spain, where new Canada head coach John Herdman is gathering his team for a one-week camp before the friendly.

A member of Canada's 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup squad, Kaye has appeared in five matches for Canada. The 23-year-old started both of LAFC's matches to begin the 2018 MLS season, including the first win in Club history against the Seattle Sounders.
Jakovic has appeared in 40 matches for Canada, scoring one goal. He was a late addition to the LAFC starting lineup in Seattle after Walker Zimmerman had to withdraw with an injury. The defender played the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 victory over the Sounders, as well as LAFC's 5-1 win over Real Salt Lake on Saturday.
