LAFC announced today that the Club has acquired $200,000 in Allocation Money – $150,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) in 2020 and $50,000 in Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) in 2021 – from Minnesota United FC in exchange for goalkeeper Tyler Miller.
“Tyler will always be part of our history, helping us achieve great success as our starting goalkeeper during our first two seasons in MLS,” said LAFC EVP & General Manager John Thorrington. “We want to thank him for his impactful contributions in our community, and wish him nothing but the best of luck as he begins this next chapter of his career.”
After being selected with the first pick in the 2017 MLS Expansion Draft, Miller would go on to appear in 61 regular season matches for the Black & Gold. He registered 19 shutouts and 193 saves, while posting a 34-10-17 record as a starter.
