The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Major League Soccer today announced the 2018 MLS Regular Season Schedule. Of the 34 games in its historic inaugural season, LAFC will appear in a league-high 16 nationally televised games, including matches on ESPN (six times), FOX (three times), FS1 (three times) and Univision (four times). LAFC’s first-ever match against the Seattle Sounders FC on Sunday, March 4 will be televised on ESPN at 2:00 PM PT, and the April 29 Opening Match at Banc of California Stadium against the Sounders will be on FS1 at 6:00 pm PT.

LAFC begins the 2018 season with six road matches, four of which will be on National TV. Early season highlights feature a road trip to Carson, CA on Saturday, March 31 for the first-ever meeting with the Galaxy, a visit to Atlanta United on April 7 (ESPN) and a two-game swing through Canada to take on the Vancouver Whitecaps on Friday, April 13 and the Montreal Impact on Saturday, April 21.
LAFC faces every team in the Western Conference two times (one home and one away), except for the Galaxy who they play three times, hosting them at Banc of California Stadium on Thursday, July 26 at 7:30 pm PT (ESPN) and playing on the road Friday, Aug. 24 at 7:30 pm PT (ESPN).
Other notable games on the schedule include visits to Banc of California Stadium from NYCFC on May 13 at 5:30 pm PT (FS1), and the regular season Western Conference leaders Portland Timbers on Sunday, July 15 (ESPN). LAFC travels to Houston for a July 3 game against the Dynamo and to Toronto for match-up with the defending MLS Cup Champion Toronto FC on Saturday, Sept. 1. MLS will break for the FIFA World Cup from June 14-22, where potentially four LAFC players could represent their countries.
