Six LAFC players were away with their national teams during the international break, tops in MLS along with Toronto FC. With the players returning to LAFC on Thursday, here's a look at how they fared during the break:
Carlos Vela - Mexico
Mexico faced two fellow World Cup qualifiers in Iceland and Croatia. Vela featured in both matches with a 30-minute cameo in the 3-0 win against Iceland and a full 90-minute performance in the 1-0 loss to Croatia.
Dejan Jakovic and Mark-Anthony Kaye - Canada
Jakovic and Kaye traveled to Spain to be a part of new head coach John Herdman's Canadian National Team. Against New Zealand, both LAFC players got the start with Jakovic wearing the captain's armband and assisting on the match's only goal from Tosaint Ricketts.
Laurent Ciman - Belgium
Ciman joined his Belgium teammates in England for a friendly with Saudia Arabia. Belgium won the match comfortably 4-0 thanks to a brace from Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku. Ciman was an unused substitute for the match.
Marco Ureña - Costa Rica
Ureña and Costa Rica started out the international break with a bang, beating Scotland 1-0 thanks to Ureña's lone strike. But the Ticos fell to Tunisia 1-0 with Ureña playing 72 minutes of the match.

Omar Gaber - Egypt
Egypt traveled to Switzerland for matches with Portugal and Greece. Mo Salah had the Pharaohs ahead for 90 minutes against Portugal before two Cristiano Ronaldo goals in stoppage time sent Egypt to defeat. After not dressing for the Portugal game, Gaber started against Greece on Tuesday night. An injury in the 51st minute cut Gaber's match short. The defender will be evaluated by the LAFC medical staff upon his return Wednesday evening. Bob Bradley said he spoke with the player via phone before his arrival and despite the injury Gaber was in good spirits.
André Horta - Portugal U-21
Not an LAFC player when the international break started, the same day it was announced Horta would be joining LAFC as a Designated Player he did this for Portugal's U-21:
