LAFC announced today that goalkeeper Phillip Ejimadu has been loaned to San Diego Loyal SC of the USL Championship through the end of the 2020 season. LAFC retains the right to recall Ejimadu from loan during the MLS regular season, subject to MLS roster compliance guidelines.

His save against Tormenta FC on April 26 would be voted the 2019 Fans’ Choice Save of the Year.
LAFC (4-5-3; 15 points) returns to Banc of California Stadium for a two-game homestand to wrap up the month of September. The Black & Gold will take on the Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Wed., Sept. 23 and San Jose Earthquakes on Sun., Sept. 27. Both contests will kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT and be broadcast on YouTube TV, Estrella TV, ESPN LA 710 AM and KFWB 980 AM.
