LAFC announced today the signing of professional gamer Pablo ‘Pabs’ Georgakopoulos to represent the Black & Gold in eMLS for the 2023 season.
Georgakopoulos, who will play under the gamertag ‘Pabs’, joins LAFC as the third eMLS player in club history.
“I’m excited to join one of the most exciting Clubs in the country,” said Pabs. “I’m looking forward to representing the Black & Gold in the upcoming eMLS season. My goal is to represent this Club at the highest level and win a trophy for LAFC.”
Originally from Valencia, Venezuela, Pabs made his professional and eMLS debut during the 2021 season with Inter Miami CF and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2022 eMLS Cup.
Pabs will have access to the custom-built LAFC McDonalds Streaming Lab in downtown Los Angeles for all eMLS competitions and training.
Launched in 2018, eMLS is a dedicated eSports league with professional players representing clubs from across MLS competing in the League Series One, League Series Two, and eMLS Cup tournaments, among other gaming programming.
