Mixhalo, creator of the wireless networking technology that delivers pristine, high-quality audio in real-time to attendees at live events, today announced its official debut to fans of Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC). Mixhalo brings an entirely new fan experience to LAFC’s Banc of California Stadium, providing an immersive way for attendees to experience live audio at matches.
The Mixhalo experience at Banc of California Stadium gives fans access to crystal-clear, live, real-time, play-by-play in English and Spanish, offering the same intimate experience of listening to live commentary at home while seeing the action live at the stadium. In the coming months, additional exclusive audio content will become available for LAFC fans.
As the first-ever MLS team to adopt the technology, LAFC first announced its collaboration with Mixhalo in December 2020 during a time when live sports weren’t in action. With eager fans now back at stadiums in full capacity, Mixhalo has launched at Banc of California Stadium and will be available at every LAFC home game through the remainder of the 2022 season.
“The Mixhalo experience at Banc of California Stadium is ready for prime time, and we couldn’t be more excited,” said John Vars, CEO of Mixhalo. “LAFC has been a terrific partner who’s always looking to elevate the fan experience with a tech-forward approach. Together, we’re pumped to bring Mixhalo to soccer fans for the first time ever.”
At a Mixhalo-powered sporting event, attendees use their phone, headphones and a free mobile app to unlock intimate, personalized, never-before-possible fan experiences.
“Mixhalo presents our fans with meaningful innovation at Banc of California Stadium,” said Christian Lau, CTO of LAFC. “We’re proud to be the first MLS team to debut the technology and can’t wait to show everyone the magic of Mixhalo.”
Mixhalo continues to gain strong momentum in the sports and music worlds. The technology has been adopted by top major league sports teams including the Buffalo Sabres (NHL) and the Sacramento Kings (NBA), in addition to Las Vegas’ famed Caesars Palace for Sting’s “My Songs” residency, Denver’s renowned Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Detroit’s DTE Energy Music Theatre.
