LAFC scored a second consecutive win in league play with a 1-0 victory against St. Louis CITY SC at BMO Stadium on Wednesday night. Denis Bouanga's strike a few minutes into first-half stoppage proved the ultimate difference between the two sides although the Black & Gold outshot the visitors 20-6 (6-0 on target). Hugo Lloris recorded his 11th clean sheet of the season in concert with a strong outting from the LAFC defense. The team remains in second place in the Western Conference (16W-8L-7D - 55pts) only six points off first place with a game in hand.
The Black & Gold next play Spoting KC this Saturday, Oct. 5 at Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. PT on Apple TV's MLS Season Pass.
