Costa Rica defeated Scotland 1-0 on Friday thanks to a 14th minute goal from LAFC forward Marco Ureña.
The match's only goal was the result of a nice combination between Costa Rica's Daniel Colindres and Bryan Oviedo down the left flank. Cutting back a low cross to the top of the penalty area, Oviedo found the onrushing Ureña with the Scotland defense on its heels. The LAFC forward ended the movement with a one-time finish into the bottom right corner.
One goal was all Los Ticos needed on the night, as they collected their first win of 2018. They'll be in action once more this international break as they take on Tunisia March 27 to further prepare for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
