LAFC Is Back For Season 2

LAFC IS BACK for its second season in Major League Soccer with a week full of community events, player appearances and interactions throughout Los Angeles leading up to the Club’s season opener on Sunday, March 3 at 5:30 pm PT against Sporting Kansas City at Banc of California Stadium.

Kicking off the week’s festivities on Saturday, Feb. 23 will be LAFC’s Community Day presented by YouTube TV, in conjunction with the release of their new “Street By Street” secondary jersey, prior to the Club’s final preseason match. The Club will host street soccer matches, live mural art by adidas artist influencer Jonas Never and music in the Northwest Plaza at Banc of California Stadium. Additionally, the adidas MakerLab truck will be available for stylized embroidery customizations.

The LAFC Merch Truck returns to the streets of Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 24 with its first stop at Ike’s Sandwiches in Westwood, where LAFC players Tyler Miller and Tristan Blackmon will assist in the creation of the newest menu item – the “Bob Bradley” sandwich, named for LAFC’s head coach.

Other highlights include Latif Blessing helping to build the “LAFC Burger” for the Merch Truck stop at The Golden State restaurant in Little Tokyo on Thursday, Feb. 28 and other LAFC players appearing at Pink’s Hot Dogs on Friday to help serve the “LAFC Dog”.

LAFC continues to be a force for good in Los Angeles, with community events at Bud Carson Middle School in Hawthorne on Tuesday, Feb. 26 and Sunrise Elementary School and the Solano Community Garden in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
