MLS is on a mini-break with the MLS All-Star Game in Orlando during midweek. While four players from the Black & Gold prepare for the match against Atlético Madrid, the LAFC Academy has been busy this week as well. Let's take a look at what the future of LAFC has been up to:

U-15 BNT Call-Ups

The U-15 U.S. Boy's National Team is prepping for the Concacaf U-15 Boys' Championship at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. A total of 18 players has been called into the U-15 BNT for the international tournament.

Defenders Tony Leone and Armando Avila join forward Christian Torres in Red, White & Blue from LAFC. LAFC's three players selected is tied for joint-most in MLS with the Chicago Fire Academy.

The U-15 BNT will kick off the tournament on Aug. 4 against Haiti. Matches will be streamed by Concacaf.

Preseason Begins

After a short break following the end of the season, it's back to work for the LAFC Academy this week.

The Academy resumed preseason training at Cal State LA as teams prepare for the 2019-2020 U.S. Soccer Development Academy season. Last season, the LAFC U-15 team came within a match of winning the USSDA Championship.

A Force For Good

The entire month of July has been dubbed "The Month of Giving" by LAFC. Throughout the month, the Club and its fans have been volunteering across Los Angeles in service of a variety off good causes.

Last Saturday, the LAFC Academy teamed up with the rest of the Club by helping at the LA Food Bank. Academy players, staff, and families spent the morning prepping meals for local families in need.
