The Los Angeles Football Club dropped a 2-0 decision to the Portland Timbers on Saturday night at Providence Park.
LAFC went down 1-0 in the 28th minute when Larrys Mabiala gave the home team the lead, converting off a corner kick. Claudio Bravo put Portland up 2-0 with an insurance goal in the 53rd minute.
Despite the loss, LAFC remains tied for third place in the MLS Western Conference with an 11-9-7 record for 40 points.
LAFC is back in action on Saturday, September 16 when the Club hosts the LA Galaxy at BMO Stadium, presented by Pepsi. That game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, 710 AM and 980 AM.
